The first coin of this set shows obverse die deterioration and the second coin shows that the obverse die was replaced. The reverse die chip/crack on the C of Canada stays consistent to prove the obverse die was only replaced. Coin 1: Photo 1 -reverse die chip/crack on the C of Canada Photos 2,3 & 4...

I found this coin in the approx. middle of an original mint roll. Is it possible for the grease to remain on the coin of a struck through grease feature?
In photo 4 you can see the struck through grease character on the coin where some of the grease is gone (red arrows).

It is raised. In photo 4 of my first post the line that touches the bottom of the N is raised. In photo 1 of my first post the two lines, by the N, that are reflecting the light are raised. I didn't think it was struck through something because the lines continue on the other side of the N and E but...

Die damage on this 1993 cent.

It is an accumulation of die chips, so it stands proud on the tail. Because the water was right there, and it sort of looked like a frog....I thought it would have jumped on the tail for a free ride, haha!

Here are larger photos of the very start of the die chip above the C and four others as it progresses toward the full "manure pile". It sure is interesting to click through the 15 coins on my computer at full size and see each new die chip piece added on in succession.

I went through all of my dollar coins and found a 1968 coin with this same "Hannibal" die crack.
