Re: Do they make Coin Capsules For Rolls?

Amazon and other places do sell round coin tubes. If you wanted to use them for a paper roll, you would need to really look at the sizes carefully to be sure the diameter and length would be sufficient.

Plastic sample tubes would be another option.

Re: I have a strange one for you guys.

Definitely not a mental illness or disorder, but the brain trying to make sense of the world. The brain has, through evolutionary processes, gotten so good at pattern recognition and interpretation that it simply makes some mistakes. BUT there is a benefit - the wood carver that can see what an obje...

If someone has been looking for just what you have, you can do better than if there isn't.

Re: 1996 nickels

It might be, but it also looks like the photo is taken on an angle, with the flip looking bigger on the right. It would be easier to tell if the photo was straight on the coins.

Re: phoney toonies

It would be lovely if there was an easy solution to get rid of them all and appropriately punish people for sharing them. The fake toonies feel different if you are used to handling money all the time, and even a quick look should actually make you know. That said, the people making them are 'upgrad...

remove from the cardboard flip for the best photos - there is some marking that could be on the coin or on the plastic.

Numis-tastic

I have not seen these available for a while, but was looking for something and saw that Colonial Acres has them available. I have a couple, but wanted to share as it is a great way to think about coins from the Canadian mint, or a nice gift. https://www.colonialacres.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=num...

The mint may be able to tell you by the serial number on the tag.

Re: 2014 proof silver$ 100th ann. WW1. Gold plated?

If the coin was stored in a wood box, especially oak, it could also turn colour., especially because of the mint coating. The plastic holder isn't air tight. I wrote about this talking about a squirrel coin the mint put out in this forum too.

Couldn't possibly include taxes as those vary according to the buyer's location.
Indeed, and private sellers don't need to charge taxes either.
You should assume the prices are before taxes and any other charges, like shipping, etc.
