No edge rounded like the bread taken off sandwich or bun taken from cooked Hamburger it looks great but no outer coating.

Looks to be outer coating of a gas blown off of another coin prior to strike

You might never know exactly what happened to cause this but the fact that it could not have happened during the striking of the coin defaults it to damage.
