Re: What you collect and why

Welcome to the forum Canadian Banknotes, great to hear your story of currencies collecting. I agree with you on the great art work of bank notes. But somehow I go to coin shows and often come home with both notes and coins.

Re: Help With 1986 2 Dollar bills

I would have to agree with coinguy . unless your bills are in perfect condition they are not worth much more then face value but they are great bills to use to get young collectors started and interested. with that said i'm thinking it is a miss print but the last two bills you have listed with EGU ...

Re: 1967 Canadian Dollar. Two angles?

I agree that there isn't much response to a post on this sight , there is a lot more on CCF but the big part of it is based on US currency. I like to read them both. I don't feel confident enough to be giving anyone advise or i would reply to more stuff here. I can tell you new canada 1 that your ph...

Re: 1953 Canadian nickel grade

I’m not the one to give ideas of grade or value but I think you have a “NSF far “ there . Nice looking nickel I think but not a lot of value. Hopefully some of the experts here can give you more information.

Re: 1983 pennies - unopened rolls

Welcome to the form Maaddmike, I like JNOD’s idea best if you want to get a return on your investment. :D Some one might give you a couple dollars for a roll but with more then 975 million made can’t see you getting a big return sorry. They are mostly copper so maybe if coppper prices goes through t...

Re: 1925 "Curved 5" Canadian nickel

Just to add my two cents , take a look at the coin that is pictured in the price guide and values on this web site. Looks like it is a curved 5 to me. Is This suppose to be a variety ??
