In my opinion, it may be a fake. Just look at the "5"! If there was any way to check the ICCS numbers, then you should. Canadian dollars are frequently copied by two large makers in China and they are getting very hard to ID.

The 1932 near/far has been discussed at length on any number of coin sites. You don't need to draw lines or take measurements.
