Re: 1945 Canada Silver Dollar ICCS MS63 Key Date

I have removed the post I made last night about the 1945, after going back over things this AM. I was basing some of my opinion on the appearance of the nose. OOPS, sorry ... in going back and forth between the CaC photo for the 1945 dollar and the coin that you have up for sale, I got the 2 transpo...

Re: 1945 Canada Silver Dollar ICCS MS63 Key Date

In my opinion, it may be a fake. Just look at the "5"! If there was any way to check the ICCS numbers, then you should. Canadian dollars are frequently copied by two large makers in China and they are getting very hard to ID.

Re: mint pack coins 1964

If you want to see what you have exactly and what it's worth, look at the Ebay "sold" link that I put in above. That's what they have actually SOLD for in the last month or so ... NOT a book or asking price.

Or you can just compare the gaps between the 9 and 3 with the gap between the 3 and 2. It's clearly evident.

Re: Possible 1932 5 cent Far and Near 2 varieties opinions please.

The 1932 near/far has been discussed at length on any number of coin sites. You don't need to draw lines or take measurements. If the gap between the 3 & 2 and the gap between the 2 and leaf are the same, then it's a near. In a "far 2", the gap between the 3 & 2 will be much closer than the gap betw...

Re: 2018 ten cent with die crack on the queen's chin.

That's a very strange place for a die crack. Normally die cracks start at a "stress concentration" point, like sharp changes in numerals, like 1, 5, or 7. Also at the serif points/ends of letters or numerals .. any place where the design makes a very sharp angular change of direction. From a metallu...

I find it definitely harder to read, but I guess it will just take some getting used to. Is there still no way to edit or remove comments after you have posted it? I guess that you still have to make a new post to correct comments that you have made previously.

Apr Cdn Trends is $6000, but you need to be sure that it's a 65. Trends is usually about 40% too high.
