I am an elderly but very inexperienced coin collector and was wondering if any of the more experienced members would provide an assessment of what I think is a DD error on reverse and perhaps obverse as well and also an estimate to the grade this coin might obtain. I am far from an expert but in my opinion it is definitely a D.D. double die, hopefully some more experienced collectors will reply and let you know for sure.

Knsgee here, and after the fact I did check and found it to be magnetic and I have doubts that it is tombac as well since it only weighs 4.35 grams! Wouldn’t a tombac be more like 4.55?

I have what seems like a fairly rare coin in that it is a 1944 5 cent Tombac. It is in not bad shape except for after minting damage really bad on obverse side and minor on reverse.
