1945 Canadian nickel

I have a ANAS graded 1945 five cent that states no chromium AU-55 What does no Chromium mean? Thank you.

Do you mean ANACS graded?
Chromium refers to the plating. 1945 nickels were made from chromium plating on a steel core.
Your nickel is missing the chromium plating.

Well, some of the war coins come up from time to time, but we'd need a photo to see how the chrome came of or was minted with none. Here is a link to normal ones, plus please not that the Morris code around the edge spells :"We win when we work willingly". Unless we see the coin, no one can guess a price.

It's not worth the price to get it recertified. Many are full price on Ebay or sites for less than $20, which is about half of what a TPG cert would cost.
