How many jewels on bottom rim of 1935 crown?

Post by Hot Brass » Tue May 28, 2013 4:50 pm

I have a hard time finding a clear example of the jewels on the bottom rim of the King George 1935 Canada dollar. I have a graded MS-65 and it barely shows what looks like small protrusions on the lower rim which I think should be jewels. I count 6 showing,I think. Can someone verify exactly how many jewel there are supposed to be in this area? Maybe a MS-66 and higher may show this, but I can't find any examples that show these clearly. Can someone provide a link to a picture?....and yes,I have Googled it,but nuthin!
Image Thanks,Hot Brass
