I have a mess of these coins from 1939 to 1986.. Most of them are like brand new.
There are quite a few of them with the cameo on them. Are they worth more ?
I have several years where I have both coins, with or without cameo.

Until 1967, they are silver and contain .6 troy ounces of Ag. After that, they were made of nickel, and unless they are about 63 or so, they are only worth face value, which is $.75 US. The full cameo ones also have a small premium. Look at this section of the site and remember that prices are CDN and are full blown retail and you couldn't sell what you have for anywhere near the prices listed:

Not quite sure how many a mess is but the ones with the most value would
be certain King George ones. The Queen Elizabeth Silver coins don't sell for
much above bullion unless they are exceptional and as Bill stated, the nickel
ones don't sell for much above face value unless they are one of the rare errors.
