Thank you for allowing me to join this forum.

My grandfather gave me his collection a long time ago. I've moved from Quebec to BC to Saskatchewan and now I'm ready to move to Yukon but I'm thinking of leaving this behind as it has been sitting in a box for at least 15 years.

I checked what the approximate value might be using this website but I'm definitely no expert.
I've noticed that some coins go for some outrageously high prices on eBay... not sure if they're getting sales though.

If you wouldn't mind having a look and letting me know if there's anything worth it here or I should just open an eBay account and try my luck there?
(I called this part 1 because I still have the quarters, dimes, nickels and pennys to go through haha)

the rest of them is probably worth melt around $10 each

Try to take a look at the CoinsandCanada site for what they say that they MAY be worth in your opinion of the grade, but the listed prices are somewhat high and not realistic. You MIGHT be able to get 60-70% of what's listed for the less common ones. Just by looking, you will see which dates/types are worth more that the rest of the majority. Each face dollar (of whatever denomination) contains .6 troy oz of silver. At today's price, that .6 troy oz would be worth a little less than $20 Canadian as full scrap silver price, so each face dollar about $19.50 or so. Most dealers will offer about 90% of that or maybe 95% of that if the coins have little or no wear. You can only sell coins to a person with a wallet of cash ... you can't get that by selling to a book or opinion.
