I found this coin in my collection and cannot find any duplicates Has anyone seen a duplicate

There would be no duplicate, it is damage probably intentional.

Bill I have a stereo binocular microscope arriving today. When I get it I’ll take mor pictures and post them. I am worried it’s a forgery but if not I’ll have to put a price on it or put it in an auction

Agree with coinguy, looks like damage from an electric engraver or some other device.

The marks on the 1958 penny are raised not indented However looking thru a 40 power microscope it looks like the marks or raised portions are put on the penny some how Ill take a picture over the next few days and post it

100% scraping damage. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
alternative - I remember back in "58, when I was still a wee lad, there was a terrible copper-eating caterpillar infestation on the maple tree in front of my house. They left trails all over the leaves. They always left a little ball of poop at the end of the trails, then they flew off and attached themselves as red goop on silver 1967 quarters - see post in this category - "Identification help (Canadian coins)" - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8422.
