Canadian $1 chips and doubling

Post by 2bobnote » Tue Sep 24, 2024 6:05 pm

Hi there it's the greenhorn Caribou I'm sure the name explains my level and admiration for coins for about a year now My question just returning from the dollar store got this dandy watch her crack out of a brand new roll if she would be so kind as to sell but she wasn't having it

I got home to admire it and under my lens I ran across a couple things I had questions l

on the obverse side is Charlie Boy's ear doubling and is it what seems to be off center

On the reverse side is the initials doubling,
What is with the chip
Thank you kindly in advance for your knowledge expertise and mentorship

There is no "chip" affecting the N, etc. It is post-mint damage. I see no doubling, just excessive reflection on the tapered strike.
