Iv notice an auction site with a Canadian $5 gold coin dated 1911. This website only shows a 1912-13-14
The obverse and reverse on the 1911 look the same as the 12-13-14
Is this coin real???
Or is it real and it’s just not a coin showing on this website??

Pictures? Link to the auction?
Re: 5$ gold coin is it real
The only Canadian $5.00 gold coins were minted in 1912-13-14. It may be a fantasy piece
or something else. Would like to see a photo of both sides. Whatever it is, it wan’t minted
by the RCM

Sorry everyone but I am not good enough with a computer to do pictures or links but hopefully this helps
Coplandauctions Lot U7751 aution ends oct 23.
I guess with any auction a buyer has to know what they are purchasing.

Thanks Lightw4re
That makes sense now. It is a 1914 that has been damaged.
Only worth bullion value in that that condition.

I knew I would get a answer here, thanks guys
Truly a shame that it’s damaged that bad. Looks like there were only a few minted of that year.
And thanks lightw4re for getting the picture up for everyone.
