Queens portrait on one side, blank on the other

Post by naisy » Tue May 29, 2018 1:26 pm

I have a coin, roughly the same diameter as an American golden dollar coin. It has only the Queen's portrait on one side. I found it approximately 15-20 years ago. I have no idea when it was minted, otherwise. Also, it's not magnetic.

Does anyone have any idea what this coin was supposed to be, or when/where it was minted?

Hard to tell without a picture.
It sounds like it could be some sort of medallion
as opposed to a coin.
Is there any wording on it?
