Can anyone give me information on the value of RCM mint VIP specimen gift sets ( the ones that come in a black box inside white box }
I see the 1970 ones (like Trudeau Sr [supposedly gave out on his trip to China} .....
not that one but I do have a 1975 (& I think a 1973)
Is there any way to find out what how many were issued each year and does anyone have an idea of value ?

The only sets I know of are the 1970 ones that Trudeau took to China as presentations.
Be interested in seeing other years.

I have a picture of the 1975 set but will have to look for and picture the other,,,,However I am sorry to note I haven't figured out how to attach pictures yet.

I will continue to try for a couple minutes but if I fail I would appreciate it if you can explain to me or direct me to a tutorial I would be grateful.

The Charlton Catalogue is the only source that I know of and it only lists the 1970 gift specimen set.
There are specimen sets for other years but they are the regular sets that were released to the public.

Is it a double penny set?
Or is there only one penny?

Not a double penny set exactly like the 1970 VIP specimen set noted here but different dates {1972+1975 }
