Welcome to the forum

It does have some value. Even in that condition it may bring around $75.00
If it was in MS condition it would be worth thousands

Thank You coinguy!
I was also wondering if it is worth getting it professional graded by PCGS and would it make it more valuable?

It would cost nearly as much to get it graded as it is worth.
If you are going to sell it, sell it raw

Good Day Sir;

I would agree that with one of the replies that getting this coin graded will not change the value of the coin but will cost you money in the long run. If you are still inclined to get it graded and with respect I am not sure if your from the US. I would not use PCGS as they are not as accustomed to Canadian material. I personally believe that ICCS in Toronto is the most respected grading company especially dealing with Canadian content.

What professional grading does is it more solidifies that decision on what the actual coin is graded at. It makes it less a discussion point when selling the coin on its grade / value assigned to it.
