1966 coin minted in 1966 and 1967 and 1968

a website claims the 1966 bahamas 25 cent piece were actually minted in 1966 and 67 and 68....
could this be true?

Which website is that?
As far as I know, they were only minted in 1966,69 and 70.

Not sure what Numista site you were on but it clearly shows
the quarters being minted in 1966, 69, 70 only

there is a link on this chain of replies that takes you to a numista webpage that claims under the comments section that the 1966 bahamas quarter was minted in 66.67.68 and 69
could this be true?
i always understood that coins were only minted in the year on the coin

I have come across this a few times in collecting world coins. I came to understand that with some countries there seems to be such small need for coins that they don't mint a new one each year, just make more of the same from a previous year. They are usually fairly lower mintage numbers for these types. Can't think of one off the top of my head, but they are out there.
