1 peso note from Cuba - S/N 000001

Hi all,
I have a 1 Peso note from Cuba (not having any luck with pictures yet), from 2013.
It's a little rough, maybe EF range, so I'm sure it has very little value.
Except, the serial number is 000001 (there is also a prefix number AE 06, separate from the serial number).
Just looking for any thoughts or opinions of whether or not this may have any value.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Obviously a photo would help.

If you consider the note a little rough, than it is more likely VG to VF range. EF (or Extra Fine) is very crisp & nearly perfect. Our CDN Charlton catalogue heavily discounts circulated special numbers with VF = 40% of UNC value & VG being 15% of UNC. However, world collectors have a much more tepid view for special serial numbers (compared to North Americans) so there may be even less enthusiasm.

There is no 2013 regular P-128 One Pesos issued by the Central Bank so I'm assuming your note is a P-FX46 Foreign Exchange certificate. Demand for Foreign Exchange certificates is just slightly higher than demand for Exonumia (CDN TIRE, coupons, etc).

Check the link below to see if this matches your note:

The best you could do is throw it on eBay & see what happens or try your luck on World Currency FB Group (collectors go for many things there). Good luck & let us know how it turns out..
