Anyone care to confirm this as a 1929 high 1 cent?

Received this Canadian penny a few days ago as part of a small cent lot.
Anyone care to comment as to whether it is a high 9 variety?

Hope the photo loads OK.

Thanks.

Hi Tron,
It is not. For it to be a "High 9" the tail of the second 9 must rest on the baseline of the 2.

To double check, draw a horizontal line across the bottom of each of the leaf stems. If the top of the last 9 crosses this imaginary line then you can be sure that your coin is "high".

These are two things you can do right here. Scoll the photo of your coin up and down using the border of the window as a horizontal line to line up the bottom and top of the date to.

In my eye there seems to be 3 varieties from this year. A low 9, a high 9, and something a little higher than low but not reaching the required height for it to be in the "high" category. Maybe someone can comment about that...

Cheers
