CoinsandCanada price guide

Post by Jim J » Thu Aug 20, 2020 1:31 pm

Just wondering why there is no Canadian large cent 1893 Tp 9 or quad 9 pricing, only Dp 9 price guide. The Tp 9 or quad 9 are a more sought after coin. if picture's are needed I could supply a few or others as well ?

I got an e mail from David explaining to me that there are photo's of a TP9.

I did see them and agree that they are there, but my original question was not if you had photo's it was an inquiry as to why there is no price or place in your trend pricing for the TP9 as it is much harder to find than any of the DP9's of this year making it a sought after Canadian Queen Victoria large cent variety.
Just wondering?

For 1893, there is a QP(quad punch), like the 9 photo above from me, a triple punch(TP), two D/P'd ( R/P'd ), and at least 2 other just normally called R/Ps since there is little offset on them. The photo for the T/P in the 2011 Charlton is actually the quad punched and the other photo for 1893 in the Charlton is one of the D/P'd ones. We only had xxx amount of room that Charlton allowed us for the entire Vicky series, so many were left out. The price for the TP for your price inclusion) should be 100,180, 240, 360, 725, 900. The prices in the Charlton that's in there for the TP should be the QP price. The DP in the Charflton is a little high. I'd take 20% off the listed price.

Once the book came out many more 1893 repunched coins showed up, so their scarcity was a tad high.
