One of a kind error?

Any ideas on how this error occurred, is this type of error common, would it be sought after by collectors, and can any body give a grading estimate?

Yes what I thought was an unusual error is on the reverse of 2007 Cdn one cent and it seems to be a hair or thread which got minted with the penny. The irregularity which I thought was obvious, appears as a narrow crooked thin line and passes over and thru the second zero in the date.
I am a novice collector but have never noticed anything similar in any of the coins I have examined I suppose that would not mean that this is an unusual occurrence.

Yes, it is called a "strike-thru" and could be a thread from a rag or a metal shaving or something similar. It was stiff enough that it didn't get forced down into the design, since it doesn't show there. Nice find and keep it as an oddity. That doesn't add any value that the coin has, which is 1 cent or 3/4 of a cent US.
