Post by mcahoose » Wed Nov 09, 2022 2:31 pm

Hey guys
I found a bunch of 1990 D and no mint mark pennys and I tryed to look online to see what the value of them are and I'm getting all sorts of values and verities and I am confused on them ? Can fill me in please .. haha got my head spinning on all the different types I forgot what I was looking for haha
Thanks again
Ps all I was able to pick up was that the 1990 no mint mark was for proof sets that are ms67 or better, I'm gradually learning lol

As it has been for many years, Lincoln cents without a mintmark were made in Philadelphia, so you'll find no mintmark, D and S pennies for almost all US cents. Your coins are worth a penny each. People can post on sites or Ebay all they want about no mintmark and possible value, but they are just Philly and as common as dirt (6 BILLION, with a B). The "No S mintmark was a proof coin and has frosted/cameo portrait) and is very rare. Here's a short info:

Agree with Bill, they are all common business strike cents that were produced in the billions
and worth face value. They would have to be in MS66 or higher to have any value at all.
As far as I know, there were no varieties on the 1990 Lincoln cents.
