Need help with this 1997 cent

I found this odd 1997 cent, coin roll hunting.
It is slightly larger than a normal cent at just over 20mm, it weighs 2.24g which is about normal and is slightly thicker than normal. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Texas cent
Smacked between two pieces of leather.
Believe it only works with copperplated zinc cents.

Larger diameter and no copper=Texas Cent
See these quite often on US zinc cents.
No extra value but keep as a novelty.
