Found this coin in a penny jar the other day and saved it from going to the smelter. This is one of the better Rim Fin strikes that I seen. The ends are tapered thin and how it never went through the branch of the leaf. Deffinatly have to share this one with all the coin enthusiast. Enjoy the pictures.

Looks like a strike-thru to me but don't know what it was caught on the die maybe a rim fin. The mark runs over some of the design, leaving a recessed mark on the coin, but it is under some of the design (the leaf stem) so it doesn't show into the design. Then the stem tip broke whatever it was, so there was a full depression of the die.
