1958 cent pmd?

Looks like a lamination that has peeled back after it was struck.
Nice find.

Is what that is peeling off metal? It looks like the strike is better under the peel than on top of it.

Bill, it has peeled off from left to right hence the weaker
strike under the peeled off area. Not often you see a
lamination that has peeled back that much.

Thanks for your inputs. I thought it was a lamination issue. I still wonder how the copper got pushed and rolled up? The right side is nice, showing some red. If its visible, there is a raised diamond on the rh side. If its noticable, there are horizonal and vertical striation lines on the left. Thanks!
