The subject coin 1907, imaged below, appears to be an example of a High 7. This does not appear to be a known variety on the C&C website. Anyone have this in their collection? All comments welcome.

Well, the CaC website just lists a 7 and a low 7. But then it also says "Because the last digit was added by hand to each die, there are many positions where the 7 can be." So, like many Vicky cents where the last digit was hand-punched, there is no difference in value, regardless the position, unless one is way out of whack.

Value aside, C&C appears to recognize the existence of a low date 1907. They do not however, provide an image of said low date.
Thought if they were aware of the existence of a high date 1907, they might acknowledge its existence in the webpage text and use my image as well.
Many thanks for responding to my post Bill. As always, your input in these matters is much appreciated!

I agree with you concerning CaC and what they do and don't list. The varieties that they post on CaC are submissions from everyday collecting folk. They will post the submissions with whatever name that the originator wants, usually. Do NOT take the CaC verbiage as the God's truth. There are many many errors in their pages.
