Post by Jay_argampon » Tue Feb 16, 2021 1:26 pm

Hi Guys,
I just found this 2011 5cent from the roll, and l just need your thoughts about this coin and right terminology about the errors from this coin, if you can see the obverse behind Queen facing to 5 oclock there is another face not sure but seems like beaver, then the reverse there's another beaver seems two more and there is a line at2011..
Kindly please help me out to know more details about this coin.
Thanks and really appreciate!

Jay

It's rusting from the inside out.

Like TBH said, the inside is rusting and pushing up the plating.

Ok, Thanks guys for the info, so it means not an error? just wondering how thats hole came from coz that coin just came from the roll , so for this case is that a moisture that creates n hole and a rust?
Thought it was another beaver..

Not an error Jay. After it left the mint, the plating was punctured by something, this let moisture enter underneath the plating, leading to the corrosion.

Your coin is 10 years old, it could have been used and rerolled several times before it came into your possession.
