1968 DDD?

Post by Enyaw » Sun Apr 03, 2022 4:23 pm

This 1968 nickel has a lot of doubling going on. I assume it is mostly die deterioration doubling but maybe some machine doubling too? I would welcome comments, thanks.
The reverse has double denticles. The top of the beaver's head and log have no definition?
The obverse has some doubling on Elizabeth II and D.G. Regina and the queen's forehead and nose.

I'd say it's mostly MD, but there some die deterioration as well.
