1940 Canadian Nickel error?

Post by mcahoose » Thu Oct 20, 2022 6:40 pm

Hello guys

I'm wondering if you could take a look at this 1940 Canadian nickel for me .
I took a close look at it under magnified and I see some doubling on the word Cents and on the letter ,N, it looks like a die crack ? I think and I noticed that it has a rotation as well ?
Please tell me what you think
Thanks

The photos aren't clear enough to see any doubling. There IS a slight rotation about 20-30%. Keep it as an oddity but there's very little premium for the rotation and none for a die crack.

Sorry but the photos are too out of focus to see anything you described.
If there is a die crack, it must be pretty fine.
Unless a rotation is at least 45 degrees and preferably 180, most collectors
would not consider it a rotation worth collecting.
