Here, in the images below may be a candidate for publication similar in character to the 1907 5 cent previously submitted.
The 5 cent 1906 subject coin appears to be what I refer to as a “large 6”. It appears at the bottom to align with the two adjacent numerals in the date (the 1 is somewhat offset), but, projects upward past the tops of the others.
The first image below is of the “low 6” shown on the C&C webpage for the Canada 5 cents 1906. The “low 6” appellation seems to be pushing it a bit, though technically true.
