Don't send it in to grade. All you'll be doing is wasting money Just paying the cert fee plus shipping and you'll be spending maybe 10X times the value that they'd ever be worth.

Thank you for the suggestion. I was thinking the same as you were. About the final value. You're probably right. I was thinking the rarity in it. Three reasons. #1. The strike-through wire. #2. Not just one strike-through on one single coin but two! #3. This part excludes the grading slab. It's still in the original Mint Set! Oh well, I guess I'll just keep it in the cello. I'll probably go your way of thinking. Thanks again.

I would just leave it in the cello pack. You could probably get more selling it as an error in a PL set. There are are people who do collect these. If you break it out, you would not get as much for it as a small struck through is considered a minor error and doesn't really add that much to the value.

Both of you are right. I was contemplating to place in a plexiglass rectangular square where one can view both sides, then frame it. Like mentioned, doing this would probably make it a more valuable item? Sure, I can buy such a piece, but I'll make it handmade instead. I'll post when I accomplish. Thanks guy's.
