1969 Canadian Dime Mule Cameo on Bluenose side. Uncirculated set.

Post by DexterMorgan » Fri Oct 02, 2020 4:45 pm

I have found a Mule 1969 10 cents, Cameo on the bluenose side, and the queen normal on the other side.
This is in an uncirculated set.
Does it worth it to be submit it to grading? I never saw this variety anywhere.
How can I submit if it’s a new variety?
How much can it worth?

Welcome to the forum Dexter-
First of all, it is not a Mule. A Mule is when two dies not intended to be used together strike a coin. An example of a mule is the 2000 medallion quarter.
It is not uncommon to have a cameo on one side with the other side being normal This happens when a new die is paired with an older die that has had the cameo effect worn off.
All the coins in that set are supposed to be BU so at the best you may have a wrong dime that was inserted in thepackage. If that makes it more valuable or not, I can't say.
