My work legit just couldn't get ride of this lil guy

This bad boy has been in my work's till's and safe for about 4 month's now until I took him home with me today. It's like that cat came the very next day.

would you say it's been tampered?

Agree with Bill
There is no way that a coin can get bent like that when it is in the striking chamber.
Spend it if you can.
