1995 Canadian Dime

Post by Patriot6 » Thu Apr 22, 2021 10:01 am

I'm not much for error coins, but I came across this dime. Wear or error? The bust of Queen Liz is still raised with the details in her crown very pronounced as well as the back of her hair and necklace. Writing is still raised although weak in some areas. Perhaps a weak strike? My scanner is down, I will attempt more detailed photos. Thanks in advance, JF.

Welcome to the Forum

That coin has been ground down creating that effect.
It’s not an error but classed as damage.

Figured as much, but you never know! Appreciate the wisdom.

Hello! If this come back certified AG-3/G-4, this is a great low ball coin (even if not my type).
