2021 Bluenose Die Chip Progression

Post by Enyaw » Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:31 am

In a sealed mint box I found what I believe is a progression of die chips on the 1 and 9. It was a progression of numerous (+250) coins but I have attached 5 at various stages.
1. Die chip starting on the inside of the 9.
2. Die chip starting on the 1 and more defined on the 9.
3. Getting larger on both 1 and 9.
4. Even larger.
5. Largest Die Chips I found in the progression.

Nice. I have seen die deterioration on the water as well. It looks like ice.

Here you go.. These came directly from the mint’s special edition rolls.
