2000 CDN Dime with "W" on obverse

Going through my sick cousin collection and found something. I am not very knowledgeable about these things but it stands out strange to me. found in his uncirculated 2000 set a dime with a W on it. Anyone help as to what this is and its possible worth. Maybe some sort of experiment? The W is at 5 o clock.Still in display envelope so not the clearest
