any thoughts re value on this cdn quartet 1985 with smooth rim but deep or thick or extra sharp rim it looks like stamped on a wrong planchet or blank. thks le mail me pls

Sounds like it may be a dryer coin but as Bill stated, without pictures,
we can't say for sure.
