2006 pink ribbon! effigy on the left!
I didnt notice this under errors., wasnt sure the best way to show the pic, so here goes.. The effigy on the left is waay off.

The coin on the left has to be rotated so that Canada is exactly on the bottom. That's the way that the coin is actually struck. The painting application is put on with no N-S orientation. It's just affixed to the coin where ever that may be. Once you do that, see how far off the strike is.

My honest opinion is there is no orientation with this particular coin. The ribbon does not face a certain way every time - its just the way they were produced
