I have recently found two 1973 quarters with "Linked Beads" and I was wondering if this variety/die error has been identified before? I know it has been identified on 1973 dollar coins but I'm not aware of any on the quarters. Thanks.

They aren't 'linked" It is a die crack running along the beads. It's very common on almost denominations and/or monarchs.
