Just a matter of time before 1890H turns up. Rare fakes of other denominations also listed.

Pathetic losers trying to make a buck.

I spoke too soon. 1888, 1890H, 1894, 1921, 1870, 1872H now listed as well as many other rarities of other denominations. Reported seller to eBay however I suspect eBay will be slow to act if at all because of the way the listing is described. Seller admits they are copies and tells buyer to not buy if they are bothered by listing - how considerate of them.

I have reported a few on ebay - they state replica, but the correct word is "counterfeit". In Canada law says you cannot own, buy, sell, or have materials to make counterfeit coins/bills. Best to try to just report them and ensure someone doesn't get one and try to sell it here.

I'll get Mikey (nickelsguy) whack them. He's removed hundreds os vendors. The Chinese fakes aren't just for scarcities or rarities. There are Chinese fakers that advertise they will make you any coin, any date for you to order, and in many multiples as well. People order them for school/college reunions, family get-togethers, babies, weddings etc. It isn't agianjst the law in Chins to make copies of foreign coinage. Some will also put "copy" on them but many don't Mike will take care of it.

Looks like that seller still has Canadian coins, and a bunch more popped up too.
There are a number of the "Coin Craft Canada" versions listed with different vendors now too.
And many of the others do not clearly indicate it is a replica/copy.

Mike can only do so much. I need the vendor name to have them removed (all his fake items). Mike has worked with the RCMP for at least 5 years and helped the US House Of Representatives write their counterfeiting legislation which never got through, although he is a citizen of we Canucks ... and a friend of mine for nearly 20 years.

Suspect you are speaking of Mike Marshall... know the name from articles etc., but never met. Definitely glad he is working on these kinds of things!

Yes, he is Mike Marshal, a true crusader against fakes, forgeries and counterfeits. You should all attend one of his talks or seminars.
