1980 Double "Dollar"

This 1980 coin has "Dollar" doubled. I noticed it wasn't listed on this site so I thought I would share it.

To me it looks like machine/mechanical doubling, where the die is a little loose in the keeper and moves as the die is coming up on the upstroke in the striking, slightly sliding. MD coins show like a shadow of the main part of the strike. I'm not a dollar collector, so can't say how common they are. All coins would look like that until they tightened the keepers holding the die in place.
