I am a rookie at judging so any input would be great. To me looks like a die chip dent kind of ?

There are 2 types of accidental damage that could cause this.

One is called strike through, which is when some foreign object comes between the die and planchet as the coin is being struck and leaves an impression.

The other is called post mint damage (PMD), which is anything that damages the coin after striking.

To verify which, you would have to send the coin to a third party grader (TPG), which would cost you more than you could ever expect to receive if you sold the coin.

My personal opinion is PMD, since there is a lot more damage to the coin than just on the forehead.

Well, coin forums are about opinions and I think that it is a strike-thru but a different kind. I think that some small bit/piece of metal got stuck in the design element of the die and then the die struck the coin. So it's kind of a plugged/filled die and partially struck through. It caused the design to be not full there on the coin and I think that the foreign substance was very hard or metallic to leave such a sharply outlined irregularity. I think that it's pretty neat
