Help grading a 1936 dime.

Post by Smoke » Sun Apr 05, 2020 10:48 am

I know it says vf20 on the slab but I don't know who did it and I'm not very good at grading, could anyone confirm or modify the grade on this?

The photo is too small and sideways so you really can't get a definitive grade, but it looks AT LEAST VF-20, maybe 30. Send better pic.

It's better than VF-30 and probably XF-40, maybe higher. Better photos than at first, but still best to take them without going through the mylar of the holder. If the price on the first holder, says $15, that's a lot for a VF-20 or even 30 ... it's a fairly common '36. Nice coin
