This is my first post here.
I have an 1882 H, double chin, one cent piece that appears top have an unusual punch error.
I have clear pics but not sure how to post or attach them.
I am studying the interface. If you can help, pls do.

I don't see any double chin. What you have is an Obv 2 for 1882 and that Obv has what looks like a double chin but it's normal. You have some delamination on the Reverse and some post-mint dings on the Obverse. Your coin has led a full tough life.

I’m intrigued about your term “delamination”.
We’re these cents laminated?
Also, the deep gauge on the reverse appears to be below the beading which remains fairly intact above.

The term "delamination" refers to the planchet that was the metal disc that was struck and made into the coin. There were impurities in the bronze alloy which caused the planchet (coin) to partially peel. The coin planchets are cut/punched from large sheets. Somewhere in the sheet were impurities or trapped gas that just peeled away a sliver after being punched out into discs. I'm just going by the photo and can't see it "in hand". The die has recessed areas that end up being raised on the coin. Part of yours looks to be a lamination error and the part with the beads showing could be a "strike-thru" where something was between the die and the planchet. Hard to tell from the photo. It's not worth much anyway and no premium for this worn of a coin.
