I am just getting back into collecting after decades of not.
Is there a way to clean a coin without damaging it? I just want to get some of the crud of it

Yes, you can upload, easily. JUst follow the directions and crop it properly. We need to know what kind of coin and the condition to tell you how/what to do.

It looks like it was buried for a time. Try a little extra virgin olive oil and see if it helps. Is any of the discoloration raised at all?. It's a common coin, so it won't hurt much to try some things.
