It is a US Indian Head ( Buffalo) nickel issued between 1913 and 1938.

I think I knew that. But is there any value to it? Or is it a common coin? I thought it was unique but it’s probably not lol

You didn’t really state what you wanted to know. It is a common coin with about 119 million
produced in 1936 alone. It is worth a couple of dollars in that condition.

They're referred to as Buffalo Nickels and every US kid, growing up before the 60's collected or saved a few of them. What is that brass colored ring that you have it in? For the 36's, always look for the 3-legged buffalo ... scarce.
