Welcome to Coins and Canada
Looks like you have a rare note there. I found this on another Forum.
Of course condition would play a big part in its value.

According to Charlton's it's 100 times rarer than a regular 7 digit radar
"and pricing should be arranged between buyer and seller".

Hi

You can call Colonial Acres Coin or Canadian Numismatic Company auction house and send them a picture and ask what the auction list price might be and price range note might sell for.

The only way to get the market price is to sell it. A note like this may well exceed expectations in a nationl auction.

Good luck !

Dan

PS, no I don't work for either auction house. I buy and sell with both when I want to change up my collection.

Cool!
Your repeater is not actually called an 11 digit radar, as the number comes from the palindrome information. Thus, a 56780 1 08765 (spaces added), is actually a 5+1 = 6 radar. The same 6 digits repeat from the front read and the reverse read of the number. You will be sent to the special numbers section if you put in your bill information into the Banknote Search Engine, found under the C&C Banknotes, then Bank of Canada tabs. There, if you look at the 4-digit radar, you will see what I mean. Still pretty special and I'd be pretty excited to find this in my wallet for sure!

What might also make it interesting for a collector is that the sequence 5678 is a partial ladder (but it is not a complete ladder). The value, however, may depend on the collector that likes this kind of thing. Most Canadian and US currency focuses on the radars when the total number of digits are fewer. The general value, however, may be more related to the quality of the bill - if it is in really good shape, protect it.

This might be of help. It focuses on US bills, but is good about how it describes special notes. http://www.coolserialnumbers.com/HowRar ... umbers.pdf

This C&C site does not have a registry of radar bills, as there would be so many of them, but certainly a fun thing to find!

Your note is a six digit radar and very rare.
For a seven digit serial, the odds of any radar are 1/1000
For an eleven digit serial, the odds of any radar are 1/100,000

charlton calls this radar a "super radar"
not a repeater not a ladder

do you have the page number where they say this?
I had always assumed the super radar was when the middle digits were all the same - eg. like in the paper I posted for an eleven digit serial number, something like: 29999999992 or 29292929292

hello there,
on page 353 of the 2008 20th edition of charlton cdn paper money catalogue it states
if all 11 digits read the same backward and forward the note is called a super radar
that is the exact quote
thank you
