1986 $2 bill Thiessen-Crow - BBX with Large B

I am new to the forum and would appreciate some help with this bill. When I look it up in the price guide, large B is mentioned for the prefix BGA to BGZ and not for BBX. Does that mean that the large B doesn't affect the value for a BBX bill? Or that the value is more in line with the BGA to BGZ ones with a large B? Or maybe this isn't a large B?

The bill is not in great shape - looks like it was rolled up in a ball and stuffed in someone's pocket. So not a huge value one way or the other. I'm just trying to figure out how to read the price guides.

Thanks.

The small B is slightly more valuable than the large B in higher grades but
in the condition of your bill, it is only worth face value.
Unless a very rare bill, collectors like their currency in Uncirculated condition.

Thanks for that comment. I realize this bill is not in very good shape so not a good example. I am more interested in trying to figure out whether I'm reading the price guide correctly, i.e. it doesn't list BBX with large B so would it fall under BBX or the other prefixes with large B. As an example, the guide shows the prices for a VF-20 bill as $3.10 for the BBX and $13.50 for large B.

Sorry, I made an error in my first post that I have corrected.
According to the Charlton Canadian Paper Money Catalogue, the Small B is worth slightly more than the Large B
In VF condition, the Small B is worth $5.00 and the Large B is worth $4.00

The BB issue on your bill is different than the BGA-BGZ series. They are on the left and right, whereas yours are side by side. Thus, this could be a unique error. Further, the BBX bill should be a replacement bill - they are notes with X here and not the * of older bills, so you might have something not discussed yet. That said, a quick ebay search showed at least one other of the BBX bills with a larger B on the left than the right.
