1954 $1.00 *B/M Replacement Unicorn

Post by Dredge » Mon May 09, 2022 1:23 pm

The 1954 $1.00 *B/M Replacement Note without a front plate number runs from 0000001 - 1160000
However I have a unicorn to that as I have found a *B/M 0977146 with FPN 62 BPN 65
Just wondering if anyone out there has a serial close to this and what is on their note?

Hi
I printed a document I found back in Jan 2020.
Regarding BABN Asterisk notes *BM, it says;

" Lowest observed without FPN *B/M 0320855"
" Highest observed without FPN *B/M 0476595"

It also says regarding BABN Asterisk *B/M notes;

" Highest observed WITH FPN *B/M 0317703 "
" Lowest observed WITH FPN *B/M 0490603 "

The second part doesn't make sense to me. Can someone explain it ?

I have BABN *B/M 0171407 with a FPN #29 BPN #30
I also have BABN *B/M 0171408, the FPN #29 is slightly faded ( ink is not as thick ) and matching BPN #29.
The face plates on these two consecutive notes match ? Common or rare?
The two consecutive notes BPN alternates as the W/N notes mentioned below.

My two BABN *B/M 0327826 AND 827 NFP notes have BPN #42 AND #39. Not even close to alternating.

My 4 consecutive W/N NFP WN8961940 / 941 / 942 / 943 notes have alternating BPN's 103 / 104 /103 /104.

Does anyone have knowledge about the *B/M having the same FPN / BPN ? Is it common ?
Same goes for the alternating BPN numbers on the four consecutive WN NFP notes. Common or rare ?

I don't know if this helps you or makes the questions more difficult ?
