Radar notes
Got these from my bank. Nice bills. What do you all think. Please let me know if they are worth keeping? Thanks for checking this out.

Re: Radar notes
The $20 note is in great condition and the $50 has a fold in the corner but still in great condition too.

I like them both & would keep them if they were mine.William Fowler wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 7:32 amThe $20 note is in great condition and the $50 has a fold in the corner but still in great condition too.
I cannot understand why the $20 image is so poor (so striated) like you photographed it under water or something.
Yes, the best way to start analyzing the condition of a polymer note is to start with the see-through holographic windows & search for scratches. Even notes fresh from the printers can have scratches! The 2012/13 series have been plagued by scratches to their security windows. If you can find one (or 2) "scratch free," then hang onto it!

Re: Radar notes
I would keep them if the only issue is that little corner edge - get them into protective sleeves to keep any other damage from happening to them. Some of what they could be worth would be related to who the signatories are - and I didn't check on that, but you should. I like that the $20 has a radar-like prefix too. The polymer notes won't be replaced as fast as the paper ones had to be. Radars are, thus, going to be more limited over time. Fun...
